There is a first at all! While visiting a house with a water infiltration problem, we opened the wall and it was isolated with an old mattress. It goes without saying that the owner will have to open the walls and redo the insulation of it! For our part we will take care of waterproofing the foundations and make sure that the water will not infiltrate by the foundations!
