When installing a foundation drainage system we must install a water collection system. The system may differ from one place to another since each city has its standards. In the case illustrated above, it is a catch basin in which there will be a submersible pump. When the water level in the soil rises, the water will be poured into this basin and the sump pump will drain it into the rainwater system of the city. In this way, the foundations always sustain good drainage and the humidity of the subsoil is controlled.
