With the climate changes we are experiencing, soils that once were strong enough to support a house can become a real disaster today. Clay soils collapse in times of drought.
This house sank 4” in one corner due to clay soils. The brick was completely cracked and large cracks had appeared in the facings.
We had to pile the house with hydraulic piles all the way down to bed rock. After the piles were driven in, we straightened the house and completely repaired the cracks.
We offer a 25-year transferable guarantee on pile stability.
The clay soil can now move or subside, this will have no impact on the stability of the building!
