Foundation sinking in clay soil in Saint-Lazare
Project description
We are called every day to see houses that sink into the clay. Sometimes we need our measuring device to show that the foundations are no longer level. In this situation, we did not have to look far! This is a house built in 2008 in the town of St-Lazare on land that was formerly a wetland. Quite a nightmare for owners to discover so quickly that they have to invest such a large sum of money in order to protect their heritage and investment…
We will take care of stabilizing this house with hydraulic piles attached to the foundation that will go down to the rock about 90 feet deep. We will also give a 25 year transferable warranty to new owners.
It's never pleasant to learn that, but fortunately we take the situation very seriously and we offer quality work.
