Foundation at the end of its life in the Montreal area
We were called in to assess the condition of a foundation following the interior demolition of the basement. Upon our arrival, we immediately noticed the extent of the damage. There was no need for laboratory tests, coring, or compression strength tests. We could make large pieces of the foundation fall off just with our hands. Unfortunately, no method of repair or resurfacing of the foundation will be effective. The building's structure must be supported, and the foundation needs to be replaced.
