NAILS IN A FOUNDATION!?

Rate this post

We find it very contradictory to use nails to waterproof a concrete foundation. Almost all of our competitors use nailed membranes to “drain” the soil. It’s not necessary! We prefer to put two good layers of sprayed elastomeric membrane on the foundation and do not perforate the membrane afterwards. We then cover the elastomeric membrane of an extruded styrofoam for the cushioning, install a good french drain and the turn is played! The wall is waterproof and insulated! What could be better!? The nailed membrane will always tear, detach at the top and damage the waterproofing membrane behind.

We just cared!
