Today, we're taking advantage of the winter season to carry out underpinning work on this prestigious home in Westmount, Montreal. The foundations of this house are poured directly on rock, and the new owners want to take advantage of this lost space to extend the basement.
For this underpinning project, we show you in video how we'll break up the rock and remove the debris to enlarge the basement space - a new foundation extension to consolidate the building's structure and avoid the risk of structural collapse.
